You know the book, I know the book. Or the movie. Either way, we still both know it.
Gone Girl is about a man, Nick Dunne, and his wife, Amy Dunne. They seem happy, besides the stalkers of Amy, because of her parents (they wrote a book about her). Though, when on their 5th anniversary of their wedding, Amy goes missing, Nick is blamed and is said to have murdered Amy.
Gah. I loved this book. I must say that it had few flaws. I couldn’t remember any important sentence. It all seemed bland to me.
I mean, I could tell you about Nick, and Amy, and about their relationship, though I could not tell you a single sentence, or quote from the book. It’s just hard to remember.
The more I look at this book, the more I dislike it. I would never re-read this book. It felt so frustrating when Nick was trying to find Amy. I hope it’s not just me.
I feel like this is a total over-hyped book!
