I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an HONEST review.
Oh my, how cute this was! I loved this book, while I felt frustrated with some characters, (Maysa and Haydee) I was ok with this book.
The plot: Maysa, a young Muslim Pakistani girl, and Haydee, a Puerto-Rican girl, who is a prostitute. God, what a plot this was. They fall in love with each other.
Am I the only one who thinks how cute this is? While it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t bad either.
I cried, I sobbed, I smiled, I jumped for anticipation, all in this book! That’s the emotions that I felt for this book ❤ .
I would be hesitant to recommend this to anybody, because of their views of sexuality.
I still enjoyed this book.
3.5 stars for A Love That Disturbs.
