I received this ARC from the publisher via NetGalley.
This book was horrid. I just didn’t enjoy it.
I won’t be including any spoilers for this book, though I just was so confused. I just realized that this is also the third book in the series, as the publisher did not give me the correct info.
I checked the description of this book on NetGalley, no info that this is even a series. That’s just horrible. Of course, I wouldn’t have requested it, and I think I would’ve just moved right past this. But, I still wouldn’t have wrote a review like this if the first couple of chapters were even any good!
Just to make sure, this could’ve been the perfect book, if the author described more. But, he didn’t. I didn’t really even feel the terror they should’ve been feeling. First of all, why so many characters? I hate when books try to make all characters equal. Like, hello, I’d just like to get a protagonist and antagonist, and maybe a few more. Not a whole neighborhood.
At least, that’s what it felt like.
This book was just so infuriating. I didn’t feel the fear, the fear that these people should’ve gotten. Instead, it was some bullsh*t. I don’t like to use words like that in my reviews, though seriously. I couldn’t stand this. I’m glad I’m over with this.
In conclusion, I blame the publisher, for not giving correct info about if this is a series, and also the author for not making me feel any emotions in these characters. It never seemed like anyone was terrified. I sure would be.
God, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
END OF REVIEW.
1 STAR FOR THIS BOOK.
