I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review via NetGalley.
Two amazing books in one day? This is like, heaven.
I enjoyed this book, a lot. It brought smiles, tears, sadness, all to me. It’s just, Solace had such good characters, like Corin’s father, Lu, or even Corin herself.
While I wished her mother had more character than just crying and being an emotionally unstable person, I was OK with having this, though, I would’ve appreciated some more mother-daughter time, to be quite honest.
And, I loved that this book had the RedCross in it! While I was in Congo recently, I met these two amazing doctors/employees from Congo, and they were just so kind, and it was truly an honor to meet the people who save lives.
Besides that, I loved how Corin went through her character development.
This book was truly amazing for me. I would recommend it to anyone.
5 stars for Solace
